With mentor Coach Larimer at the helm, the Everett Warriors ended one of the most successful seasons in the history of the school by winning 18 games and losing only 4.

The Everett Warriors broke several records during the 1948-49 season. The Warriors piled up more points than were ever scored in one season--a record-shattering 999 points. High scoring "Mickey" McFarland scored 401 points to break the previous record which was held by Don England in 1947 with 247 points. "Mickey" also took the floor record with 43 points against McConnellsburg. The Warriors go into the District 5 Class B playoff against Rockwood.

Individual scores were as follows: Mickey McFarland, 401 points; Dick England, 161 points; Jack Gump, 151 points; Wallace Miller, 105 points; Frank Shaffer, 63 points; Loren Woy, 54 points; Roy Foor, 31 points; Ivan Mack, 16 points; Chester Wilt, 8 points; Donald Bertram, 5 points; Richard Perrin, 4 points.

This year's team was captained by Wallace Miller. The team will lose by graduation Capt. Wallace Miller, Loren Woy, Jack Gump, Mickey McFarland, and Dick England.
