Dale “Vinny” Grimes
Bedford Area School District
Dale was the scorekeeper at Bedford High School for football from
1981-2002 and for wrestling 1974-1999
“Vinny” reported the results to three newspapers and three TV stations.
In wrestling he prepared the pre-meet meal
Dale missed only one dual meet when he thought it was snowed out.
Played fast pitch softball in the Independent and Rural Leagues for over 25 years

Played on Claysburg’s first Legion team in 1954
Played for Pavia in the Bedford County League, won the Outstanding Pitcher Award in 1961

Ronald L. Bulger

As a high school student, Ron served as manager of the football team
On the “chain gang” for all home football games since 1965 to the present
Joined the Everett Fire Company in 1987
Served as fire chief for 17 years working tirelessly the parades and carnivals
Played in the Independent Fast Pitch Softball League for 20 years

Charles Francis “Smitty” Smith
Hyndman Junior-Senior High School
Francis Smith, better known as “Smitty”, was a long time official statistician for
Hyndman Junior-Senior High School and kept meticulous stats on games and players
