2024 Bedford County Sports Hall of Fame Special Recognition Award
Bedford Area School District Cliff and Jackie Beegle The Beegles have been strong supporters for Bedford High School athletics, and they spearheaded the drive for a baseball scoreboard in memory of former Bedford High School baseball coach Gary Waugerman. They collected donations for the scoreboard in a very quick manner, and the scoreboard was erected and in place in late March of 2024. Member of the 1988 Tussey Mountain Hall of Fame Wrestling Team Northern Bedford School District ERIC MARTIN Northern Bedford’s first District 5 Wrestling Champion Undefeated Regular Season at 133 lb. weight class 1965 – 133 lb. PIAA District V Champion Tussey Mountain Trey Miller Trey Miller has been a leader in providing sporting activities for youth in the Tussey Mountain area. He has served as a coach in Little Baseball. He has also served as a member and officer of the Tussey Mountain Youth Baseball Boosters. Trey has been a Tussey Mountain Elementary Wrestling coach for 6 years. He has also been involved in the Tussey Mountain Elementary Wrestling Boosters for 8 years. The gridiron is another area that Trey is involved with. He has served as a coach for Tussey Mountain Youth Football. He is also a coach for the Tussey Mountain Junior High Football Team. Trey has been a driving force in updating and improving the Saxton Little League Field. Trey has given countless hours to Tussey Mountain youth, sports, and the community.
