The purpose of the Bedford Sports Hall of Fame is to honor and recognize former athletes, coaches, and contributors to athletics of Bedford County.
A nominee for induction is open to those who competed and contributed in athletics who either attended one of the six current county schools or their preceding schools or those who lived in the geographical confines of Bedford County.
